The village and its traditions
THE FARMSTAY
You will relax in one of the six comfortable rooms (two rooms in the main house and two cottages) all with private bathrooms.
Surrounded by mango, coconut, papaya trees, you will wake up with the sound of the birds and beautiful colors of the sunrise.
After a delicious local breakfast cooked by the family, you will enjoy your day spending time in the hammocks, in the living room or discovering the area and its activities. Ping would also be happy to show you around the property and share with you his knowledge about farming. You may even meet friends and family who often come and go in the property creating good vibes and a nice atmosphere.
In the evening we can light up a fire for you to read and have a good time dat the end of the day.
During your stay you will savour great local, organic breakfast, lunch and dinnner prepared by the family such as sticky rice, Laap (national dish of Lao), spicy salads, fresh fish from their pond, Khao poun,... If you are not into lao traditional cuisine you may use the kitchen to cook your own food. You are also welcome to assist the cooking and even exchange recepies.
PRICING
The price for one night is 80.000 LAK or 300 THB or 10 USD without breakfast.
The price for the local organic breakfast, lunch and dinner is 20.000 LAK per day.
The price for the breakfast alone is 10.000 LAK per person.
THE ROOMS
Each room has a kingsize bed, a fridge, free wifi, fan and a private bathroom attached. Fresh towels, soaps and shampoo are distributed on your arrival. Laundry service is also available.
CAMPING
You are welcome to plant your tent on the property for example under the big mango tree, bathroom facilities are available.
The price for one night is 40.000 LAK or 150 THB or 5 USD without breakfast.
COMMON AREA
During your stay, the following area are at your disposal, so feel free to spend time there:
- the kitchen and living room area (to cook, eat and relax),
- the vegetable garden,
- the terrasse with the hammocks,
- the pond,
- the fire place,
- and of course the entire garden
